Woven bags are primarily made of polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE) plastic, processed through techniques such as drawing, weaving, and coating. Polypropylene woven bags are the most common type on the market due to their high strength, wear resistance, and moisture and water resistance. Specific material characteristics are as follows:
1. Polypropylene (PP): Lightweight, acid and alkali resistant, and UV resistant (with the addition of UV agents), suitable for packaging fertilizers, grains, etc., but prone to brittleness at low temperatures.
2. Polyethylene (PE): More flexible, suitable for impact-resistant applications, such as building material transportation, but its load-bearing capacity is slightly lower than PP.
3. Composite Materials: Some woven bags have an inner layer covered with PE film or aluminum foil to enhance moisture resistance and barrier properties, used in the chemical and food industries.
